If you want to be like Steve McQueen and hurl a Gulf Porsche 917 down the Mulsanne Straight - albeit in 1/32 scale - then this is the class for you. It includes Sports, Le Mans, ALMS and GT style race cars plus any road going sports cars from most eras.
This is our fastest racing class (over a second a lap quicker than the saloons) and allows virtually unlimited modification to the running gear so it tests both your driving and car set-up ability. You are at liberty to fit a 35k motor if you think you can handle it but always bear in mind that ultimate straightline speed has to be matched to braking performance and the necessity to get round the twisty bits as well. A well set-up, slightly slower car will usually beat a guided missile that can't stop in time for the corners.
A popular choice for this class is a car from who sell a wide range of iconic Le Mans cars of high quality. They also produce some of the best tuning parts available which are readily interchangeable with the standard items.
