Juniors

Well behaved juniors (under 16) are very welcome at the club but, due to the current insane climate regarding "Elf & Safety" and child protection laws, we have no option but to place the following restrictions on their attendance:

Juniors must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian whilst on the premises. Due to the Child Protection Act we cannot allow unaccompanied children to attend.

There is also a minimum height requirement of 5ft. This is to ensure that they are tall enough to see over the track without the use of a raised platform. There is no minimum age limit.

There is no attendance fee for a non-racing parent/guardian.

Mussel Bay Scalextric Club must ask the parents or guardians of junior entrants (under 16 years old), that they accept that Model Car Racing can be hazardous, especially whilst marshalling. Mussel Bay Scalextric Club will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained whilst at a meeting. If any parent or guardian is unable to accept this disclaimer the junior entrant will not be allowed to compete.
