Japanese GTs

Like the NASCARs and American Muscle this is a "Box Standard" class with no modification allowed to the basic car although a little preparation is necessary for racing them on our wooden track.
The cars we race are the Scalextric versions of the Nissan, Toyota and Honda Japanese GT cars. They can be purchased for around £30 from the usual sources.
Although of similar specification to the NASCARs they are a bit lighter and less tail happy so can lap the track a little quicker.
As they are unmodified they are evenly matched in performance and the racing can be very close indeed.
