Club Cars
Slot racing doesn't come any simpler or cheaper than this.
Just arrive and drive!

This is our entry level class. The cars are provided by the club so you don't even have to buy one to compete.
We use cars from the Scalextric `impact resistant' range (Porsche GT3Rs and Ferrari F430s). These are just right to learn the basic skills of slot racing; they are not too fast and will stand up to the inevitable crashes without disintegrating.

Sometimes we also run Scalextric Lister Storms - a standard GT car. These are trickier to handle but rewardng to drive once you get the hang of them.

All the cars are race prepared by a club member and are evenly matched in performance - nobody has a car advantage so the best racer wins.

Once you have some experience with them it is time to move onto one of our box standard classes - American Muscle, NASCAR or Japanese GT.
